Search Engine Results per Page or abbreviated SERP is considered to be a special kind of Google search-related guide of a visual type. In fact, when we type a particular term, that is, a keyword within the search box on this or any other search engine, we get a certain number of results per specific keyword.

It is assumed that the basic part of each SERP is a list of those search results found by the search engine, based on the above words, that is, the queries the individual user types into the specific field. Although primarily this page should include specific results, that is, websites and other content that most closely match the keywords listed, advertising can certainly be displayed.

There are two basic types of results that are obtained in this way, and these are those that are considered organic, as well as those that result from paid ads.

The organic results are actually derived from certain algorithms contained by a specific search engine, while the latter imply that the owner of a particular website or page must make payment to the Google search engine in order for these results to appear among the first.

The principle by which the results are presented is first related to their relevance, and as far as the presentation of results in the SERP is concerned, in the first place there is the title or the link that takes the user to a certain page, and there is a very brief description usually containing the words and expressions that the user typed in the search box. And anyone who pays for advertising has the ability to choose exactly what is to be displayed within the results.

It is assumed that there is an extremely large number of results available on the basis of specific keywords in the Google Search Engine, so it is usually limited to creating different subgroups. Of course, the results displayed at the very top of the search are also those whose content most suits the typed word or words, and certainly, the more distant the results from the top, the lesser the extent to which their content can respond to the query.

The SERP is made of the total of three components that are considered crucial, first the query, that is, the keywords that the individual user types into the search box, then the organic results, and the sponsored SERP results.

In order to allow each user even better search, Google search engine, but also many other major search engines, such as Bing or Yahoo, add different tools to get the results as good as possible. And that means that specific results can also contain images or videos, maps and similar content whose description mostly suits the required keywords.

Each individual browser, of course, continuously complements his or her functions, so most of them also have those tools that allow significantly better filtering of specific results, primarily by their relevance.

Except for relevance, the organic results are also stated on the basis of various external factors, that is, primarily based on the connection of a particular website with different social media and similar content, but also on the basis of its reliability, so that users actually they get the best of the best results for a particular keyword or phrase.

It is most important to precisely define words or phrases when searching for them, in order to make it easier for the browser to recognize them.

When it comes to sponsored results, this is actually a specific way of presenting certain services or product, that is, a specific website. And a keyword-based browser, in principle, determines which paid ads will appear on a particular page.

The SERP is a highly important component in Internet marketing since it is most important for successful advertising that specific web contents are found within the first page of the internet search for certain keywords.
